Looks like the heaviest snow so far, drifting around a lot.

Looks like the Peak District have decided to share a little of their snow with me. Might call a ceasefire should this continue.

Cant see much happening today in the wild west of Birmingham. A few grains landed overnight...

Think the next hour or two will give us a clearer idea, so far the showers have dissipated just around Leicester, but looks like a more organised band now approaching, can they hold together better? Reassuring to see Walsall getting some snow now, suggests they just might. Met Office also were never keen on snow for Bham area last night, seem more keen for today.

This definitely feels like us lot near Birmingham will have our fingers in our ears today whilst there’s plenty of excitement further north and east (to be expected I guess, always had a bit of hope but that radar is very underwhelming) so best of luck! Had a very slight dusting here but to be honest, not fancying our chances quite as much as I was last night, I think in a couple of hours well really know how this ones panning out.

EDIT: just started very lightly snowing again

Another decent shower coming through. I do like it when you know it's so cold that they won't be wasted, and every little  helps.

Light snow blowing around here now.

Some showers to our north and south seem to keep their intensity. But for some reason, the ones heading to Birmingham and the Black Country don’t. Maybe with where they’re coming ashore on the eastern tip of Lincolnshire, it’s just a little bit too much of a land track for them. We really do need just a tiny bit more easterly to the flow.

Just had the tiniest sprinking of minature graupel - probably as much as we'll get here from this pathetic "Fluffy Pink Bunny"

Stopped again in Hinckley, think the wind has turned slight more to the east so showers taking a slightly different route

Also the clouds have lifted a touch

Looks like @sheikhy might be right. The showers look to be converging in to one area off the coast around 10-11am! Nice upgrade if it happens!
