Line of showers hitting the East mids around 10pm dusting possible. It begins.

Snow blowing in the air and the wind when it whips up is brutal. Much colder feel than earlier today.

Been at work all afternoon and evening working the trains. Been to Redditch, Lichfield and Walsall and have observed the same all over. Grey with a few flurries.

At Wolverhampton station now waiting for the last run of my shift back to New Street, notice the flurries are a little more persistent here.

I’m on evening shifts all week...could be interesting.

Also Lamppost watching but nothing here yet.  T_T

Very, very light flurry blowing around in that strong, biting wind. No chance of accumulating but it’s nice to see.

The flakes from this extremely light flurry are actually managing to settle (if one looks hard enough to find them). Shows how cold it is

No snow yet here  (lamppost)'

Just looked at radar and the area between the Wash and the Humber Estuary is now developing rapidly.

Looks like it could be a snowy outbreak rather than a single streamer.

Very small and light snow here. If It continued until Easter think we might just get a dusting

I’m 5 minutes from Wirksworth. That literally always happens. Have no idea why. Always gets stuck showing that and always above Wirksworth. It stays like that for hours, regardless of the weather there. It’s not even snowing at the moment. I wonder if it’s a glitch in the monitoring/radar info they have there?

Heaviest snow of the day so far. Upgraded from a very light flurry to a light flurry.

Radar is looking good with more intense showers coming in off of the North Sea. They appear to be heading towards Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire. Just remains to be seen how many if any can survive their journey over the Peak District and give me more than a flurry.

I don’t think the Aperge has ever shown very big amounts. Less so than the Euro4.
