Defo an icrease on activity around the wash and heading into leicester!!need it to get heavier!!

Does look like the showers are very slowly getting a bit more ‘beefy’. Hopefully they’ll be heavy by morning.

Light snow now in Hinckley, nothing spectacular but most it's done today and according the to radar nothing over us. How reliable are these radars? For shower situations

Very light, quite breezy out too. Looking at the radar might pick up later?

Quiet here all day.  The calm before the storm?

Let’s hope that’s right so on that note with the juicy activity projected to start in the early hours and an early start for me .....I’m off to zzZZ dreaming of a white snowy morning

We have possibly the worlds lightest snow right now. Dandruff would fall faster.

Haven't been in there today! and these days I'm on here all day, not ideal as quarantine sucks

Can’t promise I won’t create a civil war between Stoke-on-Trent and the Peak District if I don’t get my snow

Is it me or has the south east had no where near the amounts that were forecasted more widely for them?!

Some localised large accumulations across the extreme south east but the cold air took longer than expected to push in and some places didn’t see a lot settling.

Seemed very localised. I think areas like Kent and Essex did ok. Further West was patchy and lighter.

Same here really, did not seem cold, few specks of rain/sleet today, cold air arrives around 3am

Getting heavier around the humber area. Is that a streamer setting up for the far north of the Midlands

Certainly looking possible. The radar has beefed up considerably in the last half hour or so,

Looks like it got going now, still on the very light side and not enough call light snow, but starting to give a sprinkle on the car.

Can I please ask why we expect the showers to increase and organise in the early hours, whats stopping the showers now and what will be the trigger? MO seem confident my area is going to get lots overnight and tomorrow!
