Now then, that shower activity near The Wash has caught my eye! Could be good for me later, if thar continues heading South Westwards.

Just saw @TEITS post on the last thread. How the devil have you been?! I haven't seen you post for years and years. I don't go into the model thread, just stick to this one  Wasn't even sure if you came on here anymore. Good to see you about  Still playing Gran Turismo?

bbc weather video for tomorrow looks amazing, not the rest of the week mind you,

From that video, it looks like a battering for most of the day from those streamers.

BBC video forecasts won’t yet be picking up on the shower risk fully for Tuesday or Wednesday. It’s not yet in range of the high resolution model they use.

Temperatures not getting above freezing for the next 15 days at least.

There will be absolute scenes in here if that comes off

The GFS picked up on this current Easterly at around t180, as well. Let's hope it's right about the next potential one

Will need the intensity of showers to be fairly reasonable to offset the drier air over land. If they remain fairly light, they will die out before even hitting Leicester.

It depends. At the moment, they haven't quite got the energy to reach the Birmingham area. That could change

On the current trajectory, you’re right. We need to be looking in a line that goes through Nottingham and Lincoln and off the coast south of Grimsby.

But don’t forget storm Darcy is still spinning away to the southeast and as she sinks, winds might eventually get back to a more straight easterly.

Yeah, it's the low dragging the winds to a NE direction.

The Met Office app moves from a light snow symbol to a heavy snow symbol at around 70-80% probability . I really wouldn’t follow them too literally

Also 24hrs of light snow symbols with a % of 50% does not mean 24hrs of continuous snow
