It’s amazing how that stuff to west of Stoke has made it over the Pennines no problem and actually intensified but everything that comes towards Stoke dies on its ass over the smaller Peak District.

Being Serious mate, I'm getting a few very light flakes blowing in the wind in Butt Lane / Talke.

Throwing this here for anyone interested, this is NASA's near realtime orbital swathe satellite images of the globe. They have 4 different satellites you can swap between at the bottom of the control bar on the left.  Should give some nice images of the snowcover if we get a clear day before anything melts away.

WORLDVIEW.EARTHDATA.NASA.GOV

The NASA Worldview app provides a satellite's perspective of the planet as it looks today and as it has in the past through daily satellite images. Worldview is part of NASA’s Earth Observing System Data and...

Tbf Matt at least we didn't expect to get much. Imagine been in the SE expecting massive falls and waking up to rain or nothing . At least we do get some reasonable falls at times

Crikey   having on just seen some of the models  I must say  somewhere in our region could get some serious snow   streamers galore

I know the Met App is pointless but is has snow for our area, from 4am tomorrow until Tuesday 4pm. Like you said the midlands about to be battered by constant streamers.

Can't hear any sound, but unsure if that just because it's quiet.  Plays for a few secs then buffers for a few secs (repeating).

EDIT: just turned my volume up can hear very quite music when it plays.

Hopefully, but the forecast on that app has already changed about 46 times today already!

I'm not rubbing it in but the snow amounts in the southeast are paltry compared to what was forecast in most locations. Some have done well so far but it isn't very widespread.

Interesting seeing the change in the regional Met Office text forecast for the start of next week over the past couple of days.

Yesterday it said - ‘Mostly dry’

This then changed to - ‘The odd wintry wintry shower’

Now it says ‘Sunny spells and snow showers, some heavy’

And will change many more. But try to look at the general trend and that is snow for next 2 days.

No sound and birds are stopping in mid flight so buffers from time to time.

No buffering of snowfall here please, only continuous is allowed and for 3 days......

My god I’m wishing aren’t I

Just looking through the SE thread and some people are getting a hammering of snow whilst some not far away are getting hardly anything. Thats what we should all look out for tomorrow some places with be buried come tuesday but some places might be cold and dry.
