does anybody know if its possible to add a second wind sensor array to the hp2551 console.

I was wondering if the ultrasonic wind package would work alongside the existing outdoor sensor array  giving two sets of wind speed readings on the console, i hope that make sense, thanks.

No it wont.

You can have both registered on the console but the WS80 will take precedence data wise for Lux, wind and Temp/Hygro. This means that the WS68 (Tri/Bi-Wing sensor) just is used for its rain gauge.

This is actually how I have mine running currently.

You could buy 2 GW1000 and have one look at the WS68 only and the other can look at both. The console or GW1000 cannot take both wind measurements and use them both, one or the other is discarded automatically.

thanks it might be an email to Lucy then, 2 wind readings from different positions would be a useful feature to be added. we can run multiple soil moisture sensors so it should be possible to do.
