Best day of the week I suspect temp wise, tomorrow we will see a cooler feed of air from the north, and this will stick through the rest of the week.

This is turning into a very decent April for dry sunny weather, a much cooler version to 2020. Almost twins really.

Almost perfect weather conditions today, wall to wall sunshine, light breeze and 17c.  Ground just getting a touch too dry which is not good news for the unprotected peat moorlands and the unconscionable morons setting fire to them.

Yeah, that does my head in.

Today has been a write off for me but that was after two days in beer gardens

Max 17.9C.  Had to remove two of my jumpers

Grand cloudless almost calm day.  Would have been better without pollen haze.

First damson flowers opened.

What a great day it's been. Practically cloudless and pleasantly warm in the sunshine. If it was like all summer I'd be satisfied, well maybe a touch warmer say low 20s but not boiling. However we all know once June hits the heavens will open. We're currently in the "dry season"

Lovely day, warm enough for one layer, less cold last night as well. Max about 17 degrees. Highest of the month by quite a distance. Unlikely to hit such heights in the foreseeable.

Will have helped spring growth, could do with some rain, but can't see much.. likely to be a very dry April. Trees still bare, and bluebells only just appearing.. give it 2 weeks and the woods will be dotted green with purple floor.

Wow, after a lovely morning again, it has suddenly clouded over big time here in the south of the region and was actually looking a bit stormy to the south west earlier in the afternoon. The start of the cold front bringing cooler weather to the region by tomorrow?

Aye it did the same here, lovely sunny conditions then all at once it looks stormy.

still it was a decent day though and it beats the sunshine and showers type of month that April looked like being a couple of weeks ago.

TBH take way the water content of the 10 inches dumping of snow we had here on 10th and it’s been approaching the dryness of last April.

A cold sunny morning turned into a coolish cloudy afternoon but it’s looking like a sunny end to the day.

Don’t know when the cold front passed through but as they say around these parts, it didn’t even wet the flags.

Yes nothing at all today. Been a very dry month, noticing soil getting cracked now too, but not unusual with the Atlantic traditionally quiet at this time of year before it often gets it's act together through summer and ex-hurricanes start to get thrown into the mix as well later on in the season.

just cooking lemon salmon and making pear walnut &  blue cheese salad with a Chablis from harvey Leonard’s chilling... almost feels like summer

Yes what a great day it's been. Air temp not amazing but in the sun it's felt fine, UV of 6 earlier on and there's been virtually no breeze. Looks similar tomorrow. By the looks of things it's possibly turning a bit chillier next week though.

Can't seem to shake off these cold upper air temps for good.
