After Covid ripping through the house I’m on my last day of isolation and starting to feel human again

missed last weekends walk in the ice and snow but looks like some milder weather is here for a while with a possible dryer spell

My nephew had it but luckily he's only a young man of 35 so like most healthy people his age his immune system brushed it off. He just had a dry cough for 3 days I think and fatigue, but that lasted longer - a couple of weeks but he's obviously ok now. This was back last May though.

Rang docs to order meds for my 14 year old, whilst on, i asked when my vaccine would be. I found out I was in Group 9, I did register as a carer some years ago but that seems to have gone missing on the Practices PC. I should be group 6 but it seems that getting it changed is an unknown and  cant just be changed by the GP. WAFU

That's crap mate, we've been moved out of group 6 also, as having asthma isn't deemed serious enough, seemed pretty serious to me when having to be in constant touch with Covid nurse when ill last month. The grouping system is all wrong, I hope you can somehow find a solution mate 👍

The sun came out today first time for about 9 days.. a welcome sight. Very pleasant until the last hour or so, light winds and temps close to 11 degrees, had a late March/early April feel about it, birds singing, signs of spring flowers everywhere.. can sense winter is on the wane and spring is about to spring! Alas the last hour or so it has started to drizzle and is now overcast, so there will be a quicker descent into dusk. This evening very much feels like winter still, but give it 2/3 weeks and we should have proper lift off in spring feeling.

    Another win over the Gunners.

Just need the weather to be a winner.

Yep we need a big shake up with the weather. Dull drizzly weather and temps of 10-13C don't float my boat, though I guess they do for some people, so each to their own. But would be nice to see a decent cold spell in March before Spring properly kicks in.

Gloomy and grey yet again with more upslope drizzle.

WSW streamer gave us 6.9mm rain over last 24hrs.

Sunsine and drying east winds would be welcome.

Not good to see further yellow warnings out for Cumbria rain on Tues & Weds. Our garden is beyond saturated after Friday and Saturdays deluge and we're at the top of a hill! The river Eden has been bursting its banks into fields all around so another 100mm in the surrounding fells is not going to be welcome. Appleby were on edge on Saturday and will be bracing themselves once again.

Unlike the snow, I know the rain will have no trouble falling as forecast!

There's a big glowing disc in the sky, its making me feel warm and there's also some blue amongst the puffy cotton wool things.

    Any ideas?

I'm embracing the early spring like weather. Id forgotten this weather can give you an uplift as opposed to the greyness that ive endured along with 95% of the North West.

Beautiful afternoon in Cheshire sun starting to feel warm looking at the next few days south of the region staying mainly dry unfortunately north of the region looking wet with flooding becoming a concern for Cumbria.

This afternoon -  Beautifully sunny,  blue sky and bright sharp visibility.  Can almost touch the fells a mile off.

I thnk it's what my grandmother used to call a "weather breeder".  It'll all  go bad soon.

Birds sound happy.  Curlews came back last week.  That's about 2 weeks early.  They'll be enjoying the sodden fields.

Are you still going for a cold spell in March?

Been a nice afternoon after the cloud cleared. Birds chirping more than I've heard since Autumn. Sure sign Spring isn't far off.
