Even Met dishing out the snow forecast... don't think I've had an occasion where so many models and apps agreeing on snow. Positive vibes all the way so far...

My eldest is getting the jab tomorrow.

That will help immensely with keeping Tom safer.

I went for 7.5".. 19.05cm as I calculated that 4.05cm will blow off @WillinGlossophouse and garden and land on mine.

Here in Greenfield I’ll have a guess at 12cm 😁. On the hills around here I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw 30cm!

Alexandra Cheadle... they’ve been great... have a couple of friends that work at Tameside... another friend left Tameside last year before covid and moved to Barra in Scotland... she used to live in Glossop

It’s funny, I’m always wanting snow but this winter at work we’re short staffed due to covid and have a lot of work to do that relies on snow free ground on the moors (planting sphagnum, blocking gullies etc) and it looks like a possibly very snowy period coming up. What’s the betting when we’re back to normal it will be a mild winter again! 😆

Ah well, I’ll still enjoy the snow but it will just mean shorter time to do the work before bird breeding season starts haha

Haha I was saying this other day!.

We had a hot summer last year and dry days and we couldn't go out. Now we are getting very cold spells and snow forecast 🤔

Saw it in the mod thread, thought I might be wrapped for taking the michael posting it in here.

The entire east coast under nearly a foot of snow while we get 4-6 inches. It would be nice to see a decent snow event but that would be irritating.

He’ll that’s some serious snow cover if it comes off.

i don’t think I’ve ever seen such steep contour lines towards the coasts but hopefully the snow line is the high water line on the beaches so everyone sees some of the white stuff.

that said though some serious totals and disruption likely pretty much nationwide.

I mean, 30-40cm, when we had BFTE it was hard to tell as most had blown away including up on the hills.

It's an outlier ensemble to be clear,

I know I'm just out the are now but would still to be involved.  Can I guess for Crewe? I am going for 11cm.  🙂

     Where I live now...14cm.

I think our best option is the Atlantic trying to break through and stalling over us...

    could be epic
