Mmm cloudy so far. Hoping for some brightness later this afternoon. Cool as well just 15.8 degrees.

Ditto.

To save putting the central heating on, im wearing a thick sweater. Hopefully by Monday, that wont be the case.

After this weeks default pattern of cloudy mornings followed by brighter and mainly sunny afternoons, today has been disappointing.

a couple of minutes of sunshine here and there but mainly wall to wall cloud and pretty disappointing temperatures.

hopefully the weekend sees an improvement.

GFS doesn't look too bad longer term - seems to want to reintroduce warm air again from the south after the first one this coming week. Might end up with a notably warm September. At least with the shorter days it shouldn't get too warm indoors.

Mmm dissapointing day, no sunshine at all, and cool, no higher than 16 degrees. No Friday feeling!

Cloudy start again but hopefully something brighter on offer for later.

at least it’s dry and it should feel pleasant enough for our first trip down into Manchester since before lockdown.

Probably the last real cool day today then a tentative warm up starting tomorrow before peaking on Tues & Weds. My phone app going for 26C. Going to make the most of it given we might not see similar temps until at least May.

A carbon copy of yesterdat, wall to wall cloud, max 17 degrees. Uninspiring. Tomorrow could well be fairly similiar just warmer. Monday not looking much brighter either. Then we have a mini heat blast Tuesday and Wednesday, likely to be be the last true warm spell of the year, make the most of it. By warm, I mean feeling very summery, we can still have days well into the 20s even in October, but from mid Sept on, the sun is losing alot of its power, and the effects are significantly diluted.

We are forecast light rain overnight tomorrow/Monday morning, which will be the first rain in 2 weeks, apart from a spit or two.

Bright rather than sunny here in the south of the region, but certainly better and warmer than any of the past few days.

Where abouts are you in our glorious county?  Think I'm in the better side, it's been beautifully sunny all morning here in Macc.  Tis certainly better and warmer than previous grey, dull days we've had.
