Sat outside having a beer and watching some impressive storm clouds all around me but directly above me is clear blue as others have said though the wind is picking up so whether that is a warning of something approaching or not, it’s certainly freshened things up a bit.

More distant rumbles...thankful the breeze had picked up to be honest...its turning down the heat.

Lovely anvil to north from the Accrington cell.

Cells seem to be developing over Greater Manchester

Storm shield in full working order over Dale. Very interesting watching this thing blow up to the South. Thunder every 30 secs or so right now and seems to be increasing frequency. Look out north Mancs.

Similar here but it feels like it’s about to go off.

Looks a poky cell over northern Greater Manchester

It’s pretty much filled the sky to my south now and seems to still be building.

meanwhile here it’s still bright and dry but breezy and a lot cooler than earlier.

The "mushroom" over northwest Manchester as viewed from here.

Seems like same place as yesterday, seems a lot hazier here than on those photos, but can make out still the cumulus to my N

It looks like the Burnley, Accrington, Rossendale storm has died out but I can hear plenty of thunder from the Manchester one.
