I'm well impressed with the vaccination programme and grateful to the NHS, all the volunteers and anyone else involved, especially the parking stewards who direct me to a parking space when I haven't got a clue where I'm going.  My second jab is 15th June, 11am. Grateful to the scientists too, I have the Oxford one.

Could not say it any better.

Another lovely day again, temp maxed out at 22° according to my phone. 72 Fahrenheit in old money. Much cooler now and wind has got up as well. Got the bedroom window open so hopefully not too warm for sleeping tonight.

Lovely day again, a touch warmer than yesterday, max 22 degrees and pretty much wall to wall sunshine. Tomorrow looks the same but also a touch warmer still, might even scrape 24 degrees which at any stage in the summer is very respectable for here, let alone 1st June.

I think we are all going to record our warmest day of the year so far, already 20° here.  What's happened to the Cat webcam?

Certainly potential for a 25c this afternoon

Lovely stuff.

Reached 25c up here so must have been at least 26c down in Manchester.

Got up to 24C at the airport looking at the link above, that was at 5pm and this only updates every hour so could've got up to 25C I reckon in between updates. Not sure why some people keep saying this weather station is shut as it still updates. Strangely puzzling.

Getting warm indoors here. 26C in the main bedroom that has a south-west facing element to it so it cooks in the afternoon. The cooler north-east facing one will be tempting tonight.

Reached 23°C here according to my phone (need to buy a new max/min sensor as my old one broke) and feels boiling in the sun. Tempered somewhat by that nice breeze though.

Another very warm warm day ahead tomorrow before cooling off on Thursday.

The position of the high is enabling NW England to be hot spot at present, light easterly feed. I think we just about nudged 24 degrees. Current temp a warm 18.6 degrees.

Tomorrow could top 27 degrees somewhere in the region, before a cooling on Thursday with nearer average but sill a little above the norm for the rest of the week.

Might be some heavy thundery downpours overnight Wednesday-Thursday.

23.3'c max in Buxton yesterday and hopefully later on today there's a good storm or two rolling up from the Midlands for a long-awaited early evening storm, personally anything above 20'c and I start struggling so i've kept in most of the day away from the heat, high UV levels, and pollen. I learnt my lesson in Turkey whilst watching the 2006 Eclipse and completely unaware of how much UV the skin was absorbing which ended up in me having burns & blisters for a good month afterwards.

The outlook is pretty good. Consistently warm and not hot, and not much rain (chance tonight though) all in all very useable weather.

24hrs after my second covid jab and feeling fine which is a relief after the first jab left me in bed for 48hrs back on topic another stunning day but the strong breeze is more than welcoming maybe a few storms later as the unstable air pushes north from the SW as at @Frost HoIIowhas already posted above the outlook is looking good lots of usable weather with temperatures in the low 20s.

Warm and sunny but with a nice breeze to stop it from feeling too hot. Perfect.

Lovely warm sunny start to this part of the lake district close to Blencathra. Shorts and t-shirts are the order of the day.

Yes excellent conditions in Lake District. Current temp 23.1 degrees, can we make the magic 25 degrees, a benchmark of a very good summers day here. There is a warm breeze which is tempering the overall feel of things but it is not a nuisance.  Chance of heavy downpours overnight.

This Suns far too good. Front pushing from the S
Hopefully let’s see it stall over Cheshire and never reach Salwick like those lovely snow laden ones always do in Winter.

Been in the Lake District this week. Weather has been glorious. Temp reached 26C today according to car thermometer, though I suspect this may be reading a degree or two higher than the actual temp, based on the reports above. Unstable looking skies overhead right now, but I think this will be too far North for any decent storm activity. Looking good for back home though...

Second day in a row we have been one of, if not the warmest place in the UK, topping out around 28C

Topped out at 27c this afternoon here in S Cheshire lots of hazy sunshine but looking as if rain/ a storm is brewing for this evening as the front moves north. Not as humid a day as it would feel in July/ August mind.

Brave.

We were in Glenridding Sunday at 8am.
Place was well on the way to capacity then.
Quick jaunt up Keldas and home for midday.

Thanks but no thanks.
