Been a decent day today, about time really. Nothing special temperature wise but in the sun it's nice enough.

With the lengthening days and warmer sun, any showery activity can be rescued by a longer sunny evening.  Something you don't have chance with in the bleak mid-winter.  So decent today and maybe not too bad tomorrow.  Thurs/Fri might need an impossible 24hrs of daylight for any salvation to occur.

A day that felt like May, pleasant, lots of sunshine, no rain and light winds, temps nothing special about 15 degrees, but definately one of the very few good days this month so far.

Another lovely day yesterday. No rain at all, we had blue skies from morning until 2pm, where a nearby shower clouded over the skies. It shifted about 4pm to leave a largely sunny and cloudless evening. Temperatures hit 18C yesterday, which is not bad at all. Dropped as soon as the sun disappeared for a couple of hours.

Today looks broadly similar. Started very sunny, hopeful of a dry day.

Can't complain. Though I know it's the eye before tomorrow's storm.

So much for the forecast.  Massive cloud burst and some distant thunder.

Atleast a dozen flashes and rumbles.

It's gone quiet again now but the radar looks impressive

My stepson was on X57 coming back from Sheffield.  It was to his right with some good lighting as he was on the Snake Pass

A bit of a shower this afternoon but not enough to stop me from getting the grass cut before the monsoon arrives tomorrow.

Pretty nice day of weather today! Some very heavy showers with quite a few rumbles of thunder and lightning. In between very pleasant and warm sunshine. Late afternoon turned out very nice indeed.

Just starting to rain. Had to hastily park the car near Tameside hospital as my second youngest has had to have an unscheduled ECG.

Main carpark full, pay and display one down hill was height restriction so roofbox on car would have hit.

Got space near Stamford Park and a 15 minute walk to hospital.

Went out for a bike ride after tea; nice blue sky, and a few clouds - but, that breeze still had a chill to it; I'm still in long cycling pants. It's mid May......

Was a lovely late afternoon / evening yesterday, warm sunshine a rare beast this year.

It's now 8.2*C and raining and windy. Will it ever warm up this year?!

7.8'c in Buxton with accompanied 30mph gusts, a different day than 5am this morning where a brisk stroll up Eccles Pike was rewarded with sunrise over Kinder Scout and the tops of the low being illuminated a deep-red looking behind me out to the North & West.

Rain forecast to be heavy and persistent all day. Instead, we’re getting the odd spot. Welsh mountains doing their job I guess.

Yes 2 good days on the trot, but a very poor one today. Current temp 8.7 degrees and raining, miserable for May!

I'm still in my winter coat.  What a big difference to yesterdays beautiful warm evening the moon was clear in the sky before a bright tangerine coloured sunset.  Just had a blustery shower, one of many today, it's cold and the radar looks horrible.  Some parts of the region look like they are having a thorough drenching.  Keep smiling.

Not a great day for late May. Some subtle signs of an improvement during the start of June as the jet tries to move north allowing for a weak ridge of high pressure to move in from the south.

What is going on with the weather, another truly crap day. Still no real heat to speak of.

Not looked at any charts whatsoever so i'll just pray for nice weather instead lol.
