Iight snow/graupel falling. 

Its my eldest 's birthday today. Dont think its ever snowed in 27 years on this date.

More like hail around here and I'm fairly close to the airport- it's bouncing off the surfaces. Maybe turning slightly sleety now. Very odd as most forecasts had us in clear sky this morning- it's totally cloudy and extremely dark.

Looks to be a developing trough. Lower clouds coming from East here so maybe a convergence zone.

It's very bizarre, all the forecasts missed it. The BBC had clear blue sky here this morning. I think probably 10/15 miles north it's clear blue sky.

Morning,

I am just north of the shower zone. To the north of me it is mostly blue sky while to the south of me the clouds have that wintry uniform look.

Really nice convergence zone setting up there! Even sleety with big flakes here in Reddish.

Wet snow sticking - walls, bins, grass covered. Roads are clear though.
