The sky is gradually dimming here, no flakes yet. Only a slight breeze so hopefully any snow that does fall manages to settle. Will this be it for the season?

I’d be very surprised if we get anything here. 
 

Would be a great end to the spell if we get an unforecast dusting.

Hey up all.

Had a busy few days and because nothing of importance was forecast - and milder air was a-coming - I've not been on here...

Saw the forecast of snow moving in today and possibly clipping the welsh coast...never expected it to come all this way.  Even a few powder flakes would be a nice surprise to end this spell.

I know snow wise it's been disappointing on some levels but loved the landscape.  Frozen dry, every little stream is frozen locally, took some cool icicles I spotted in nature (near springs etc)...and the 'cold'...oh dear god.... it's Baltic in the wind but loved it.

The radar has snow over us so hoping for a few flakes on my route shopping in Nantwich! haha.

The driest most powdery snow I’ve ever seen. It’s just blowing everywhere. Stuff like this is akin to the likes of Russia

It's gone 3pm, was hoping I could report on snow falling, nothing as yet. Radar shows green incoming, yet sun trying to break through! Reminds me of those cold fronts in summer that bring no change in temperature and just a bit of high level cloud. It must be the exceptionally low humidity..the fells are not even capped with cloud.
