Was losing interest and following football and other browsing activities - just looked out the window and quite a considerable dusting left by the last shower.  Car traffic has quietened down too, so the roads covered.  Radar appears to show a more direct East to West path for the showers and they appear to keep more intact from their climb over the Pennines.  Good signs.

I love watching these showers come in. Trying to work out exactly where they need to hit the east coast in order to travel over your back yard. Some would say it’s sad . I haven’t actually noticed a change in the trajectory at all btw but I could be wrong.

Is the netweather extra radar available in app form?

Found this on the App Store but it’s not been updated for 4 years.. so obviously it’s duff.

Showers have more intensity but just blowing around in the wind and struggling to get to the ground

Just looked at the forecasts via Beeb, METO, Netweather and TWO and all of them bar the Beeb forecast a clear and very cold night; the Beeb are forecasting cold and light snow all night...

None of them forecast snow overnight last night and we got a dusting... So will see what comes of it...

Whilst they've not been monumental by any means, we've had the best showers of the day here since it's turned dark which have put down a light dusting on many surfaces. Looks like more showers lined up to hit us. The change in shower trajectory seems to have benefited us. Best thing about having them now is that whatever falls will stick.

That shower was virtually nothing just to the north of Doncaster. It developed as it approached the Pennines. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if a few of us woke up to a light covering.

Right who's nicked all the showers?

Own up, I was looking forward to them.

hahahahaha brilliant!

Let her go, Let her Go
Can't hold her anymore
Let her go, let her go
Turn away and slam the door
I don't care what they're going to say
Let the judge rage on
The lockdown never bothered me anyway.
