We seem to have a nice large (ish) band over us now, is coming down better than I have seen yet, "could" get some laying snow, would be nice if the wind stopped now for an hour or so!! LOL

We just had one of the best showers we had, the wind blew it all and then melted haha, sun is back out.

Even when you are under a heavy radar blob it's too dry and the flakes are too small. Very much like the easterly of 2005 - days of dandruff and nothing else.

Finally got heavy enough to start building on concrete now..  hopefully more to come.

Made the above chart to help rate the snow... So far this winter, we have made it to 4 once.  Most of the time its been 1s an 2s

Radar looks a lot better for shower activity for sunset for us western coastal areas

 

So far weve managed a 1 in any activity...

It’s been a 1 here too. It’s been nothing but the odd flake today

I went out for a walk at lunchtime to take some photos across the valley towards the Pennines. The visibility was variable.

Does seem to be a slow drift southwards. Take that cluster that were going through Scarborough about 2pm are now going between Filey and Bridlington now
