What's worrying is the radar now looks almost identical to what is was at 3:45 this morning, and we're still waiting

Nice heavier shower here now. Snow blowing about in gusts of wind.

Just been out for a walk and it is absolutely freezing out there!! I can't remember last time this freezing before. Maybe back in 2012-13.

2018.... we didnt get the snow, but we cold all the ice and cold.  was minus double digits in parts of the north west, with a strong wind.

Yeah; just taken my wifes Racing  Jazz to my pals body shop to get a scuff sorted and didn't think it was that cold when clearing the 0.5mm of snow off the car

Got to his in Fulwood and the winds picked up and it's absolutely bitter! Couldn't wait to get back into my car and ramp up the heated seat!

Its looking wintry outside this morning but flipping freezing in the windchill and that was only to be out putting the bins back in, everywhere is frozen over with drifting snow so for me it'll be a day of staying inside and keeping warm. I was planning to be up on Chinley Churn but no chance in this weather and The  local MRT teams probably have enough on their plate already for today without needing a extra casualty to assist.

Looking at the radar it’s almost like there is a slight northerly drift to the showers  now.

looks like a spell of showers is now on the cards

Don't know for certain, I wonder if there is a subtle change in wind direction? A slight tilt towards the east? Behind a small trough?
