Light snow here in Sale for the last 20 min - more likely blowing tiny flakes.. impossible to accumulate anything at this rate

South Manchester peeps - we are in a fairly dry slot currently with the streamer setting up over Macc & Wilmslow. I’m hoping the precipitation about to hit Scarborough has a better chance of getting to us @raul_sbd

Off topic ..... just reading about the 2 wild campers on Red Screes breaking lockdown regs, who called Mountain rescue leading to one of the Patterdale rescuers ending up in hospital. There really are no words for some folk ☹ unbelievable.

Skittering of snow here, we've had one or two bursts of moderate snow, but very short lived. Will the bands of snow showers align favourably or not that is the question.

A couple of cm cover by the end of the day and I will be happy.

The sun is out so that may aid some homegrown convection..

Still snowing nicely here. Think a Sheffield to Buxton/ Wilmslow/ Macclesfield to Crewe streamer is setting up. Heavy snow showers on and off for the next few hours by the looks of things.

Gf reports moderates snow in Liverpool city centre. Nothing here really except a few flakes every now and again.
