Anyone have any more detail/ predictions on tomorrow’s potential streamers? ⛄️ I’m thinking I’ll catch a cm dusting or two anymore and I’ll be lucky. Areas further East could do well.

Nice Gap

I wouldn't worry about it as I've been under it most of the day and there isn't a single snow flake on the ground - bare!... just the odd dandruff flake floating calmly in the wind , hoping tomorrow delivers the good stuff!!

Same here, and there was bits of blue sky showing through this afternoon too.

Continuously light flakes all day here in Macc. 0 accumulation, but just odd stops and starts of snowflakes on my morning run this morning, and still now even.

As someone who can take or leave snow, but happily will have it if it does snow, I am surprised at how dry everything is, that wind is stripping the moisture out of everything, and my worry always when snow melts and re-freezes into sheets of ice, doesn't feel like its about to happen. Big fan of this cold dry air, would be lovely to get some snow going now!

I'm thinking further south and east is best for streamers tomorrow

I know the weather doesn't work this way but if I could push the streamer over to you Day 10 I would.  I have had a few good falls here and if you have had none then you can have it!

*Sends good thoughts

Cheers bud. Yes still waiting, 3 long years.

@Chris.R moved because it's so bad near the coast and I hope to do the same, working on the Mrs so we end up possibly North Wales.

Moving because of snow sounds ridiculous but it will have to be done!

South of Manchester with Liverpool to the west & Peak District to the East? Hope the Peaks don’t rob all the snow!

I’m working in Kirkham tomorrow. Possible the least snowiest town in the Country.

Yep, being down the road in Lytham in can vouch for that! A snow hater's paradise!

Based on GEM and Arpege I’d be amazed if we stayed dry tomorrow.

Euro4 may not be so good and I’ve already broken my vow not to check the models anymore

Fingers crossed ⛄️ Anywhere under a potent streamer could catch a few cm pretty quickly as the ground is so dry & cold.

@Day 10 Wrexham & Denbigh are good NE Wales locations for snow just don’t be tempted to move by the North Wales coast - the likes of Colwyn Bay & Llandudno are worse than the Wirral for snow - on that famous Jan 2010 satellite pic the only green part of Wales was Llandudno! ⛄️

Haha not out yet. 06z was rubbish.

But our favourite model (the GEM) was a huge upgrade with support from Arpege so if it’s crap there is still hope.

Nice Gap

The winds are more easterly then that. More towards Scarborough than Whitby.

Anglian streamer fired up and heading toward Ely is intense.

One above York on the NY Moors to us maybe?

They might be but I agree with the direction shown on the map.

the way that the flow has gone today, the showers heading inland near Scarborough have been passing to my south so there has definitely been more of a NE/SW element to it than what we expected.

Luckily my GF loves snow as well and wants to move inland too so no problems there.

she’s from Milan so used to being like 200 km inland lol.
