Seems to be a few prams losing toys in the SE thread at the moment.

for Christ sake it’s a good job they don’t live in this region where even a threat of nothing is usually downgraded.

meanwhile my persistent fall of snow continues, it’s the white frozen version of the type of rain that wouldn’t even stop the cricket but it’s better than nowt.

Was about to say, went in to read the thread. Is it the Handforth thread?

Is it me or has the CZ dipped a little further south?

I wouldn't worry too much about exact positioning yet, could be more changes. Besides, plenty of interest showing on Euro 4. As @Joe Bloggs says, time for nowcast and radar watching! Things unlikely to go exactly as shown on the models.

Made me chuckle.

I’ll remember that ‘Threat of nothing being downgraded”.

Strange how there is little over Manchester, but some reasonable echos over our patch further West. It's like there is some instability further West. Ties in with the moderate bursts I've been seeing here. I'm sure that will change over time though.

Still very light here but more frequent now.

Just been on WhatsApp with the Mrs and she is complaining it’s so hot.
After a cold month or so ( in her terms 24c is cold) next week is looking hot hot.. 40-44c

the humidity will be unbearable.

Even for most of them, the real interest was after the front cleared.

I think that stuffs beginning to make it this far west, dandruff+

Seems to be more persistent though, and definitely more life in the radar.

This Easterly is in it's 'Head & Shoulders' phase at the moment and throwing lots of dandruff about...but hopefully some streamers will slide in over the next few days and send a few decent sized flakes our side of the Pennines.

Honestly , probably wouldn't make much difference , as there isn't a spot of snow anywhere here, mental .
