Wind has suddenly got up here. Hoping that is a good sign (I know that is straw clutching, but hey, sometimes you just gotta clutch!)

Two things.

Rock and Roll the Radar and you can see the showers fizzle out before they hit Chorley.

I’m not convinced the front will reach on Friday.

Fax for Monday. Trough/convergence zone tantalisingly close to the region.

Everything seems to be petering out literally about 3 to 4 miles east of here. So frustrating! But hopefully not the only chance. That band of showers heading west holds hope!

Just thought I'd let you know the dragon area brought half a inch of snow here just west of hull

Lets hope it survives then

Much more than many over here a bit further south have seen in a while. No doubt it will die on it's way

It’s nose is around Halifax now so it shouldn’t be long before it reaches here although some around Leeds only had rain or sleet so nothing nailed on yet.

On face value looks like the band will Hit me like it would from the NW. Coming from the East it won’t reach.
