Isn't there a bit too much time between now & then for that to be nailed down?

Never nailed down as per - but that front has been modelled for quite a few runs - time as ever will tell but it's the only hope for the W and coastal especially with some decent cold in place.

Many thanks for this...surely this time! From an IMBY  perspective, I like ”coastal especially” ?️

Radar has Bacup and Todders doing well - wind getting up here across the fields.

Ace mate! So now the fax and other short range mods pick up the GEM sig, hopefully will slowly edge North as predicted.

Surely a warning out tomorrow for Mon/Tues stretching from the Humber to North Wales including the likes of Manchester, Mersiyside & Cheshire.

Came on really heavy and put a couple of cm’s down in about 45 minutes but it’s eased of again and temperatures are still not low enough to stop in melting slowly.

there seems to still be plenty more precipitation heading towards our side of the Pennines but the trajectory seems to be slightly to the south of me now so I think we may be towards the end of getting anything unless/until the showers start coming in from the east.

They’ll VAR it and probably award a red warning to The South East instead.

I’d be very surprised if the low made it also. SW England possibly. Staying bitterly cold as a result though.

Unlike in Saddleworth & frosty grounds patch there's no snow cover here just the wet variety unfortunately.
