Well not much to say is there fully agree with @CreweCold no matter what you post either negative or positive there is always someone to shoot you down been on this forum for 11 years now and mostly been a good experience and made alot of friends @Day 10 will send you a PM but maybe I'm getting a bit to old for all this squabbling and should spend some time away from this forum. Will stay in touch with the genuine friends I have made in here but for now my time in here is over and no before anyone responds with you will be back when it snows erm no I won't.

Stay safe guys hope this virus does one soon and I hope you get all the snow you deserve.

@Interitus never mentioned anything about snow amounts had a go at the game @Spah1 set up for some fun and my post was a genuine outline of what I could expect in my local area over the next seven days.

Always shot down if you are positive Always shot down if you are negative.

Whats the point?..........

Goodbye

C.S

Your choice entirely mate, but look at the likes for the post where I reacted to Interius, many likes, shows most on here are with you.    You are expecting too much if you think the odd negative post wont appear, thats just people for you,  but try to look at the majority and to me it looks like they are with you.

Get real, 40 years of local knowledge should inform you that most of the North west typically gets naff all from an easterly, BFTE was no different. Sure, maybe a few cm here and there, and if that floats your boat then fair enough, but it's not the foot plus that some charts are touting for eg the eastern side of the Pennines or East Anglia.

I can’t speak for the rest of the region but the March 2013 easterly certainly floated a few boats around these parts as did the 2018 one although I’d gladly miss out on the heavy disruptive snow part of the next few days if it means that my 85 year old Mother in Law can get her COVID vaccination and we can start to get some normality back into our lives.

That's true, I'm still in the office and live just outside Preston in Penwortham. over the last few weeks my work mate from Blackburn has come in with at least a couple of inches still in his car from different falls, Preston? Salt spray and mud

The good thing about Preston is, errr I'll get back to you lol

The football team - but that's open to opinion.

Met office forecast here shows cloud all the way until Thursday and no precipitation. Complete nonsense, there is a front moving through Saturday and it will bring precipitation here.

Please dont look at the met office forecasts or BBC forecasts, they change on hourly basis.

Radar is the best forecast and looking out of the sky. The latter the best really.

I'm going to stick up for Preston here .... there's plenty good about the place - just been voted the best place to live in the NW (not for snow obviously ) and we are near plenty of motorways so you can make a sharp exit if you really dislike it !

Hover over the user it's next to the message button under their profile info - unfortunately it only blocks the poster themselves, not replies to them.

Just dropping in here, and it seems there's some controversy going on, please report posts you think are an issue so we can nip problems in the bud - it saves a lot of annoyance for everyone that way. I'm going to go through and try to remove or at least edit the iffy posts now.
