Is this what you're hoping for accumulation through to Tuesday?

As a very rough & ready estimate, yes - Areas under heavier streamers could see more

Snow here now - quite heavy given the radar echo which shows only light.

Wind is quite something - could be some big drifts in Kent later.

Very very windy in Bromley, and just started to snow in the last 10 mins or so. Small flakes but a lot of them - would be settling if they were larger. I’ve been just on the western extent all night. Let’s see if it moves. A lot is going to do with how fast it moves away

Raining again here now.... dont you just love london 🤗

    Oh yes ,much better.

We now at settling speed 😆

I think your location might be a little better than mine for getting under the heavier stuff. We'll see. Hope you get a covering, have a word and send it this way please!! 👍👍👍

Light snow just started. Settling on the cars. Met office automated forecast has me down for heavy snow from 9 till 1 and light snow thereafter. The text forecast update is also good so will see what happens.

The whole lot will start to weaken and then start to resemble lines of convection over the early afternoon. The models are still quite keen on sending snow showers further west as the flow turns more ENE higher up so there will be some snowfall, maybe enough to squeeze a light dusting out of it, some parts may jackpot a heavier dusting even!

    Exciting times here you know!

    Moderate snow now

Settling on roofs , cars , grass but not on roads and pavements.

Think yesterdays 9c warmed all 5he concrete..

Upside is it's now minus 1...

well know someone near ash in kent and says its just pure heavy snow now... was raining when she got up🙄

It rained the entire night in my location. There's no settling snow now, that's  progress . The high ground of east kent will be buried already

Still looking very good for other locations in this region away from the band of snow in the SE. This is especially true for those in the extreme N of this region.

    Wash streamer!

    BRAEU_72.gif

Convection should kick off this evening and continue until Wed. The streams will shift N and S throughout this period.
