Yes the radar looks like it’s clearing from the East typically  just as the cold is turning it to snow. Well we may catch a streamer in a couple of days here’s hoping.

What we are seeing on the radar at the moment is the last of the "warm" weather pushing away. The bitterly cold weather is coming in behind it from the East - clear at first and then.... well you know the rest!

I think that most of the weather models are a bit Barry White most of the time.☺️

Especially when times are confused between 6am and 6pm

But anyway, here's another

A quote from Roxy Music there.

Some sleepiness as far south as Cambridgeshire now...

There's going to be some sleepiness here in Cambridgeshire if I drink much more of this wine, can confirm though that there's a few flakes mixed in with the rain.

Anyone got any positives with regards to tomorrow's snowfall lol. All the models seeming to downgrade further east is not what I wanted to see.

I just popped this in the MOD thread, may be useful for some here.

Don't forget the live wind direction/speed map here!

EARTH.NULLSCHOOL.NET

See current wind, weather, ocean, and pollution conditions, as forecast by supercomputers, on an interactive animated map. Updated every three hours.

Even over the far SE it is now NErly wind. Just waiting for the cold to start closing in which is probably over Belgium.

Good luck all, from a snow covered Latvia ❄☃️

That is mesmerising! Seeing that dynamism on a global scale is stunning.

Don't panic! The UK radar network does not pick up precipitation that is happening on mainland Europe and if we look at the Sat24 latest radar return we can see the snow band over the Low Countries is just departing the Dutch coastline on its journey towards us. Unfortunately their radar app doesn't distinguish between rain/sleet/snow, but it will be snow when it gets here in the early hours of Sunday.

Ironically my area actually does ok compared to alot of the areas around me, as there is a fairly constant stream of showers coming in from the Thames.

Yes, my area doesn't look bad on that either, considering I'm not expecting anything at this stage!

How do you post something from Twitter or a video? Cheers

Look at the time it was posted such as "1hr" hover it, copy link address. Then post it into the thread here, it will auto embed it :D
