Absolutely no idea what to expect overnight and early Sunday here in far south west London. As always, right on the edge of the main areas so could go either way. A long night ahead I think!

I can recommend the ring security garden cam. It comes with 2 spot lights so you can just loo out into your garden and enjoy

Great idea

Can’t help thinking if this was the middle of July, would this be one of those stormy humid nights coming up with everyone watching the storms coming up from the channel?

Although if this was a summer day, I would not be impressed with the rain!

Afternoon all

I'm cautiously optimistic about seeing some snow in lowland East London tomorrow or Monday but it never stays for long with the urban heat island effect.

The front for Sunday looking a little more North and West, might bring east of Berkshire into the play.

Nice to see the pavements not too wet here in SE Essex, hoping it stays that way. Hate seeing fluffy snowflakes wasted on puddles!

You should see Norfolk, even Noah would have given up by now, easier to get around by boat!

It's from my station setup in the garden. MeteoShield accuracy apparently is better than a Stevenson screen.

WUNDERGROUND.COM

Weather Underground provides local & long-range weather forecasts, weather reports, maps & tropical weather conditions for locations worldwide.

Thank you very much for signposting, wow that is a setup!

I've been trying to find a website with hourly station observations since weathercast changed. Over the coming days I can see myself checking these regularly, so once again thank you

I'd think urban heat shouldn't really come in to it with the temperatures forecasted in the next week. This is't your normal snow event (if it happens). Especially because central London has been largely empty for months

Rain slowly clearing here in east suffolk now, being sent northwest by the breeze, only gonna get a few hours of no rain to dry things up a bit before the next load comes in and assuming by them it will be sleet then snow, Not liking the look of the 50mph wind gust in with the snow for the mornings dog walk, might be yetis by the time we get home!

It definitely will not be rain, once the transition happens.

24 hour Dutch radar looks good for most of region, but not sure how much accuracy can be told by that

That’s looks very good

A little further north and west, hmmm.

Surely there's potential for it to wander in any direction from the forecast 'a little'?!

Maybe just a hedge, as any other movement won't affect land?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
