Last post from me, bed calling...

00z UKV increases snow distribution again Monday evening with a large chunk moving south through East Anglia into Kent around 8PM. Then for good measure it sets-up a Thames streamer from midnight until early morning on Tuesday - similar to FAX charts and latest Met Office guidance statement.

That's after anything that happens during daytime Monday

By a modern miracle.. let’s get running shower activity to engage with that reminant.. and get mass intensity.. highly unlikely.. but scenes if it did !!..?

Same as you. I’d rather have the massive convective showers that the north have got rather than this slug of a decayed weather front which is just blowing lots of dandruff around. I’m under it and it’s nothing special.

Snow much lighter now - possible action in next half hour if that little streamer coming in to the east of Sheerness gets its act together - but very narrow and looks like it might miss.

South east London doing well with that you reckon? Not a lot to report, just constant light stuff not much. I’ll head off and see what’s happened later

Well finally there is a decent burst of ppn that has made it to North and (hopefully) West London. We have been overlooked so far, so will be a nice surprise for many who have felt hard done by.

EDIT: I might have been a bit optimistic regarding that 'clump' of green reaching West and NW London. It's doing a fizzle again.

Morning all. I had to sleep last night after pulling an all nighter on Day 1. Awoken to better temp ( -1.9) and DP (-4.2) and still finding myself about 20 miles too far West for anything other than a whistling wind. Which is marginally better/worse ( delete as you see fit) than going to bed whilst being 10 miles to far East for any streamer action ?‍♀️.  More positively, Exeter has increased my allocation from one to three snowflakes to mess around with today: we shall see.

Much in Dereham? Got to attempt to get to work soon

lots from what i can see! i’d say the side street i’m on has a solid 5cm settled on the roads, easily more in my garden. still coming down big fat flakes too

hasn’t stopped at all in over 12hrs and the wind has been blowing it about a considerable amount so hard to tell exactly how much

A dusting of snow here, but looking at the radar I suspect areas north west of me might be waking up to a decent amount of snow.
