Went out for my daily jog and didn’t even feel that cold, certainly didn’t feel the apparent -5 it’s meant to ‘feel like’ outside.

snizzled for a few hours, zero settled.

I guess it depends where in Brighton you are. Certainly felt the windchill up between the racecourse and Woodingdean this afternoon.

It's starting to look like we've been lightly dusted in icing sugar now. So happy !!

This band of snow which is edging more SW now and will probably pivot further westwards....the problem is it's now losing intensity and fragmenting, and surely will only lose further intensity as this day/night goes on? Unless streamers kick in, but again, East Hants isn't exactly prime position right now.

No, we are stuffed dude today, we are probably going to get about 10 flakes of dandruff snow and we will be made to be pleased by that,

Small chance of something on Tuesday morning as the winds shift ENE, could be a 3-6hrs window for a streamer.

Other than that...my last post before this sums it up quite nicely. 0.

Edit - I had sleet about 45 minutes ago!

Only very light and looks a bit like graupel mixed in but it’s finally starting to settle a little bit in Surbiton. Just the slightest dusting on rooftops and cars but it’s a start!

Same here in Surbiton after 8 hours of ahem 'snow'. It's just wet on all the surfaces, flakes flying around, polystyrene balls style for a while and fairly cold outside but not what I was expecting in temperature terms as I was kind of anticipating a freezing cold fierce wind that did not materialise. Sorry if I sound a bit down!
