I'm hoping for just enough to blow into the B1146 so I can't get to work near Dereham from Fakenham

Drifting was a big issue in 2018 when i lived in west norfolk, so i imagine any snow at all could cause some issues on the country lanes if it arrives

Might be time to delete weather apps they are rubbish at predicting the weather in future I shall just look out of the window .

Sadly my met office app has been right. Delayed onset and light snow. I am curious as to how the met office update the app, it changes so often at the moment, is there a person sitting in Exeter doing it manually based on the radar

I'm in an Amber area but seen nothing yet? I guess my time will be later in mid to North Norfolk

This graphic from Dan Holley looks more on the money. I don’t think north Norfolk was ever in the sweet spot really

Hello mate. What a shame the ground has been so wet. I hope this dont turn out to be a waste of snow and it does settle somehow.

Hi buddy  well it has perked up a bit in intensity and now finaly started settling on the grass and cars. Its a start! the Temp has dropped to just below freezing too now, so that will be helping.

This is like the ultimate slap in the face 90 minutes of non stop heavy snow and not a bit of it is settling, its like whats the point..might as well be raining. I really give up

Cooling evap... again wait until darkness... also ties with the proper gradient setting in when as per met update... even low level accumulation... and a surge in precipitation....

That says possible snow depth. Does he say at what point it's expected to reach that depth?

Get the impression this weekends event will be disappointing for many except coastal parts of EA, Essex and Kent.

Seems to be shrinking in size with not much chance of inland snow.

Edit. Apologises was looking at more IMBY so much firther inland.

Looks like a good call from you

They've got the scale wrong. It should be in micrometers....
