Blessed Weather

Canterbury I would now describe a medium snow , moderate size flakes , moderate rate of fall, bin lid and shed  roof covered. Grass now all white, struggling to lay on paths. Back garden snow is drifting down, front garden it is literally battering the windows with snow as it is North facing and looks like a blizzard. If this continues all day will be interesting.

Heaviest snowfall I've seen for a very long time

Nice. Surprised with the strength of the wind. Loving the horizontal snow.

My chair says close to settling temps! 0.8c now it reminds me of the beast mostly light snow but with  howling freezing gale blowing on my balcony by the river great stuff just need intensity to increase!

Yep. We’ve passed the transition point now. Just got to be patient for the heavier Ppn to slowly edge our way.

Looks good I’d maybe nudge that 10cm box a little more into Kent cover ashford and Canterbury, it won’t let me zoom in so you may have that covered already lol

The way things are going, places like Ashford, Canterbury and folkestone Will be in the deep snow zone. It's even snowing in lowlying Maidstone

Got some wind damage here aswell fence blown over, probably due to the unusual direction of the strong wind

Well, it's not everything I hoped it would be. Yet. But at least it's snow.

Yay the snow's arrived here. Not sure it's going to challenge the gritters just yet but we'll see.

Agreed here in headcorn it’s really heavy just started laying on cars and grass a little bit, the missis has just got a rail replacement bus to ashford (which confuses me) and said it’s starting to lay on the country roads and fields so if this keeps up we might all be in for a battering

A brief snow shower to give a light dusting in places but almost stopped now and blue sky appearing.

What's the temp there down to 0.6c here now much happier with that!

Wandsworth, SW London.

Disappointed to wake up to nothing but wet pavement (meto app had said light/heavy snow from 2am). But light graupel and sleet has started falling intermittently since around 8am.

It’s not that good in Ashford, very little wind and the snow isn’t very heavy though it has laid on everything except concrete.
