Models for us still look relatively decent despite the radar so I'm holding out hope!

Plus I told everyone on Facebook snow was coming so...

So its not just my fault then lol  i sent my daughter out yesterday to find a sledge ( not that i can join in the fun, im shielding) but we both broke the rules when we told friends and family.....

Well I have snow falling, white hills white cars but the ground has nothing. Looks like it must have been sleet most of the night.

It's interesting. There are some paths that are slowly getting covered, but you're spot on - that sleet is going to have 'helped' the paths stay cleared.

NB: That fridge in the video isn't mine.  That's an lazy neighbour's.

It’s slowly laying on the roads and pavements. I’d expect them to be white in the next hour, however, the wind is terrible. Raw!!

Even town level here has proper snow now. Not settling obviously

Daft.

It's exercise in the open.

If its available to buy then there's no issue. X

Absolutely no wind here in Ashford, not even a slight breeze. Snow falling at a steady pace and laying on all surfaces apart from the road.

Looking at the current radar + the high res models this is my rough estimate. We're not quite done with the westerly extent yet, quietly confident the heavier precip will setup roughly in the biggest box.

Is this what you're hoping for accumulation through to Tuesday?

Very very windy in Bromley, and just started to snow in the last 10 mins or so. Small flakes but a lot of them - would be settling if they were larger. I’ve been just on the western extent all night. Let’s see if it moves. A lot is going to do with how fast it moves away

Sky News weather just said it will head into Cambridgeshire this afternoon which will tie in with the Met Office

Yes, the Sky News weather presenter just said the snow band and lower temps are running a few hours behind anticipated progress, but are still expected to get there later. Snowfall getting heavier here and the temp now down to 0.6C. Roofs turning white.
