This still looks like a Reverse Kent Clipper to me

However many times I run the radar it does not get any better unless you are in Kent

I assume you mean away from NW Kent? Sleet since I left Dartford 5.45 to go home to Gravesend

The Met forecast is odd - should they not be singling out Kent? It implies the whole region will see a lot of snow.

East England is forecast widespread outbreaks of winter sunshine on Thursday, so anything is possible

When do the Met Office normally update their weather warnings?

Unless they know something that no-one here has picked up on, there must be substantial back-tracking from previous predictions on the cards.

Well I'm glad that I cancelled the all nighter. Rain here in Newhaven but the temperarature is still edging downwards so I'm still hopeful of maybe seeing a flake this afternoon

Looks like a front of some sort has gone through here - eastern Sheppey, north Kent coast.

My PWS shows a brief rise in pressure, plus a small drop in temperature.

No difference in what's coming from the sky, though, still cold rain!

Well, this will be the last "Snowfest" I will be watching from my current location. Moving to North Yorkshire in a couple of weeks.

I remember so many great Snow Storms over the years. My favourite being the one where it hammered down with rain all evening, then woke up to 6 inches of Snow. The only person to correctly forecast it was Francis Wilson on Thames TV Local News. That was early '80s.

The Thundersnow event in 2004 was when I joined here I think.

I will pop in here, after all I have lived here all my life and have very much enjoyed our local forecasters on Netweather.

Love to all xx

Lmfao what a let down so far.

All the PPN seems to magically vanish about 15 miles North of my location on the radar, but looking at dew points mothing would be settling in any case.

Guess it will be a day of radar watching but im not hopefull.

If we miss out AGAIN from this I think i'll hang my hat up as a snow lover and just become a sun worshiper instead.

I’m going to be so disappointed like you been excited for this for last week surely we can’t fail to at least see some falling snow in next 24 hours, but up and down all night hopefully checking

Thought I would wake to an all whiter and despite sizeable flakes nothing seems to be laying where I am in Canterbury , temperature is 0.4 atm. Looking back  through the radar seems to have been a mixture of sleet and snow all night but not a lot on the ground and a lot of drip drip in the gutters.

How Many Carraiges has that one got

Probably 4 as it’s a Sunday. You’ll get to know all this after a few weeks.  Shall we set up a NetTrain site ?

Radar looking increasingly juicy for mid-eastern Kent.

Its a Kent Clipper plain and simple. Yes you can also call it the Mid Kent Streamer when winds are NE or NNE, no good to anyone unless your are east of Gravesend or west of Dover.

Hoping the guys down there enjoy it and get some cracking pics.

Just Essex and Suffolk now on the no snow list I think

Well, well, well.

Last night I was called a troll, a doom-monger, overly negative etc, because I suggested this might not be that great after all...I was simply saying what I could see.

I hate that I was right...honestly. My kids are going to be gutted...

Certainly is coming down here now. Nice big flakes too! It’s just attempting to lay on my conservatory roof. Someone posted a video of Eindhoven last night, it took 2-3 hours for it to lay. Let’s hope we get a covering. Radar looks fab for us
