Add some convection from the North Sea who knows what will happen here!

Good luck in Ockendon, I used to live down south road some years back and grew up there, so know the place very well!

I remember driving back in the snow in dec 09 from lakeside in the snow, was quite an interesting experience!

I think sadly there will be many toys thrown out of the pram because outside the amber zone we are going to be feeding off scraps and some may get literally nothing. some people way over hyped themselves.

Im just round the corner in Araglen.  Yes, 09 made it pretty difficult aroud lakeside. I remember  my younger kids walking back to grays as it was quicker than taking a bus! One of the elder ones  drove into a tree as our road was a sheet of ice, and i fell over countless times just trying to get out of my driveway!

I think a good few toys will be thrown in 15 days time if we dont match the 87/91 year. I think a fair few are honestly expecting a 1947 re run! ( not sure id actually want that..ssshhh!)

Yay, internet back on finally!

How's it looking for us? Please say no downgrades? I'm scared to look at the charts/radar!

Windy here with sleety stuff, 2.4C. Should I stay up or set the alarm??

Very windy here, pretty cold and getting colder. Exciting times.

Good news is that the met office have me back to 40 hours of snow (70-90%) and 8 hours of heavy snow...

On the other hand, they now have it starting at 5am and 3 dry hours before that, which is curious, given the mass of ppn covering the area currently and out at sea...

And yes I read the post about how their symbols work, and I know this is all of limited use, but... I'm excited!

I guess key question was that expected. If yes ok. If no. It is news, but relevant in this region?
