We moved a few years ago used to be 135ft asl but now down to 81ft asl so marginality is awful for here

Just up the road though in Rayleigh it can get to around 200ft asl and thats only 3 miles away

Better than my 15ft though, at least we wont have to worry about that this time

This is getting beyond a joke. It's just gone even further back to 6pm Sunday evening.

At this rate we'll not see a single flake all week.

Stop looking at the apps! They are useless!

Yep, I’m quite near Trinity Church. Used to live on the Birds estate, swear the top of the hill gets an extra few cm but maybe that’s me imagining things.

How do you know a cold spell is about to arrive?

1. The model thread turns into when is the breakdown coming thread

2. The regional thread turns into into its not going to arrive thread

Perfect.

Nick F thank you for that map, it’s excited me. I’ll be extremely happy with that in Bromley, 15cm feels like another planet compared to recent times!

wait breaking news my BBC app has just downgraded my snow chances at 4pm tomorrow from 45% to 36%. That’s it, I give up, moving to Canada

Think your DP sensor might be broke as your Dewpoint cant be higher than your temp, not possible in Meteorology might be worth getting that checked

Quite a few people in here would save themselves an awful lot of hassle and upset if they just stuck to radar watching instead of stressing out over the unreliable weather apps.

Evening. Here's my estimated #snow depths for England and Wales that I expect until noon on Monday, using a blend of high resolution models.

I have a terrible lack of lampposts outside my university room! I might build one for myself outside if it looks like this cold is set to continue for a while!

You can buy those stick on led lights they are good.

Tonight put a torch up against the glass

As I said, forget the models for now and watch the radar.
