Just a hunch, but I can't see that front getting into our region. I suspect as the Scandi high gets modelled better this feature will be way out west. Time will tell, by that's what usually happens with these scenarios.

This Dutch 24 hour radar animation has 99% of the region under snow tomorrow https://www.buienradar.nl/nederland/neerslag/buienradar/24uurs

I’ve been monitoring this radar all day, it looks great for the whole SE doesn’t it

This is for Southend Airport up until 6AM Sunday from the Met Office. Good start for what could be a 72-hour snow event

I can't believe people are asking for radar recommendations... I've tried many and the best by far is Netweather... 5 minute updates, precipitation type and location pinpoint. You're already here and it's free...

Does anyone think North east London could miss out entirely?

I am in NE London Howie Walthamstow. From where I stands Zi think we have got s good. Chance of seeing several cm I don't think we will miss out far from it . Unless the track changes dramatically

The snow keeps getting pushed back, hour by hour, and decreasing in intensity.

There does seem to be a downgrade on (on the models) but it will come down to watching the radar.

It's very unlikely but not impossible of course that you will miss out entirely.

There is quite a lot of micro-level disagreement in the models and weather media outlets - very much a nowcast - radar and stick your head out of the window job tonight

Not in St Albans it wasn't. Snow was predicted earlier in the week to start at midnight, by yesterday evening it had been brought forward to 10pm, now it's been shoved right back to 3am.

At this rate I'll be waking up to a starly snowless rainsoaked scene.

Same here. Snow was originally forecast to start in St albans at midnight and last all night and most of the follwing day. Now it's changed to rain at midnight, then dry from 1am. The snow is now expected to arrive at 8am. So no doubt it'll get pushed back again as that time approaches and maybe we'll be lucky to see a couple of flakes floating around at 4pm!

Every chance you wake up to nothing and light snow starts 8/9 am ....

If you want a good radar here's the link to the Netweather radar. Just turn 'weather type' on to see rain/sleet/snow as per the chart below.

Even though i'm in one of the sweet spots, slap bang in the middle of the amber warning area, I have a horrible feeling that most of the snow is going to end up further east and south and be a Kent/Essex only affair tomorrow. Call me pessimistic but have been disappointed too many times before.

A very interesting week coming up. With winds falling lighter towards the end of the week and deep cold well entrenched, we are going to see some severe overnight frosts over those areas with good snow cover.

I lived in Saxmundham and Lieston for a while absolutely beautiful part of the country the Suffolk coast and have never lived anywhere as nice.

I think you’ll be ok for a bit of snow.
