GL, Woodchurch! BTW, I think it was you, who, in the last episode, told me rain had arrived. So I gave up, and went to bed. Most strange. From cold and icy to wet cold rain in 30 mins

Thats a positive as it means you have every chance of seeing heavy snow ....many will only have light snow or overcast as a consistent prediction

In the battle of the the ‘crap apps’ my iPhone app beat the MetO app hands down during the snow day a fortnight ago. Currently phone app shows the snow transition as midnight for Gatwick (MetO 4am).

Every time I look at the Met office app it keeps going from heavy snow to light snow

At least you still have snow. My area now seem to have dry spells in, originally was heavy and light snow!

It's like Russian Roulette

That would surely be cold anyway.  Perhaps Kentish roulette?

It probably was, I noticed it was just rain fter about a minute. Tommorrow could be brilliant, you're further north than me I think and Ashford and sorrounding areas could get lots of snow falling with deep snow as well, keep you're camera at the ready and you can always sleep for 18 hours wake up late Sunday to mass snow.

No, I was wondering about the Met Office measurements' accuracy.

They are always an hour behind.

I always like this one in these situations. Stay away from the forecast tab(I think its automated). But certainly the temp observations are valid:

Apps are not great on snow.

sometimes you are under a rain / snow belt and it's dry.

I find ...Will it rain today as one of the best, and you can put your post code in to narrow the  rain/ snow bands down

Wouldn't be the first kick in the balls I've received from Darcey. My daughter did it a few months ago
