Ok just for giggles - where do you think will have the most snow and how much by midday Monday?

I’m going with blue bell hill (Kent north downs) at 25cm.

Somehow 19 inches has to fall first and I'm yet to see a chart showing 19 inches laying on the ground round Suffolk by Monday..

I think you mean centimetres Bill judging by what models are indicating. Mind you, that'll be 7.5 inches, so still deep enough for a very difficult journey to work. Good luck.

Yeah it would be a good place, somewhere like Guildford normally does fairly well in streamers. I'm kinda at the very end line of any streamer usually that is a hair north of ENE. The Feb 09 streamer managed 23cms nearby, but a weaker streamer tends to run out of puff by the time it reaches here and gives its dying breath as light snow showers.

God I hope your right. According to all the models I'm in a pretty good place for a few inches or so, just won't believe it till I see it.  I live in the famous no snow triangle!.

Agreed from a local perspective! Blowing snow given the winds might increase that by 5cm perhaps where exposed. Norwich area also similar values

I have years of experiance of the requirements for Hastings,East Sussex and Hither Green SE London.

Hastings was always ripe for snowfall from connective Northeasters and snowfall moving off the continent on an Easterly.

Hither Green was a Thames steamer zone.

Brighton,I'm still learning what might be required as far as wind direction etc.I can imagine a Northeaster again might come up with the goods?with a different 'tilt' to what worked in Hastings. ( I remember the snow line used to decay as you headed West toward Eastbourne)

The beast in 2018 dropped 2 or 3 inches in Brighton, again less than Hastings who had double that.
