Further light rain and drizzle for a time last night, clearing early hours. Odd cloud break allowed for a ground frost and thick fog to form, visibility <100 yards towards dawn. The fog clearing before observation as cloud increased. Still the odd patch of snow and ice left after yesterdays and last nights steady thaw.

An increasingly mild night with light rain and drizzle before midnight then mainly dry. Thick fog throughout the evening gradually thinned to mist by about 0500. Dry and cloudy since sunrise.

Yesterday: overcast with light rain and drizzle at times, the temperature continuing to rise after sunset. About 70% remaining snow coverage at 9am, thawing fast during the day. Maximum 5.6, minimum -0.3. Wind light SW.
