Clear spells last night.  cloud increasing through the early hours. Widespread moderate frost. Cloudy this morning icy. Snow cover 65% 6.5cm.

Further light to moderate snow until around mid evening. Clear spells following with s severe frost developing. Clouding over early hours. Variable cloud this morning, moderate to severe frost. Powder snow cover 100% at 8.0cm. A good deal of sunshine through the morning and in to the afternoon. The early evening saw high and mid level cloud increase. Slow thaw until early evening.

Dry and mostly cloud covered but enough of a gap in the east for another red sunrise. Less cold than recently, still a frost with a low of -0.6 C
