Persistent heavy rain during the evening has turned to heavy snow

Dry with patchy cloud 2.2 mm since midnight and 18.0 mm yesterday, not sure if there was a mix of heavy rain and snow as the front cleared, in bed!. Very dramatic temperature drop on the front, from around 11C to 3 C in just a few minutes.
