We have just had a little flurry in Crowborough, then stopped and now seems to be starting again. Tiny flakes.

Yes quite alarming rise in Temps now so agree with the 2nd shot this evening when it all falls away SE, although as the Occlusion and Vorticity wanes then it breaks up to snizzle by that stage anway

7am Temp was -3.3c

8am Temp was -2.8c

9am Temp was -2.1c

10am Temp was -0.3c

Rapidly rising now

I get the feeling that if you get the snow, I could snow for most of the day north of the Thames

Cone of Silence in full effect then Paul !! Hope it doesn’t ruin this event too badly.

Good morning mate! I woke up early and was happy to see a decent frost but that really is a quick rise in temps. it seems to of stopped rising for the last 15 mins now though. All i can hope is it drops in any precipitation. Weve been unlucky down here on the coast the last few years again. Nowt!!

Morning. Same here. Got up to a frost -1 i think it was. Im gutted weve missed out again. I was reading yesterday about some signs of the beast but even the beast doesn't always deliver snow for Eastbourne of it comes off at all. Do you own a weather station or do you use the ones in Eastbourne?

Light snow now in Harrow. Painfully slow progression, but hopefully that means when heavier stuff does hit (literally a 2 miles away according to the A40 webcams) it lasts a bit longer!
