I don't know if anyone else does this when looking at radar...

I turn my head to whatever angle is parallel to the trajectory of the precipitation to see how my location might fare. There are 4 possible outcomes to this:

1. 'yes it's coming right this way!'

2. 'It's dying a death now'

3. 'Uh oh there's a gap and I'm going to slip through it...'

4. 'Where the hell did that come from??? There was nothing there half hour ago!'

Tracking the radar and I’m not sure who’s more excited for the snow to arrive, me or the nearly 6 year old!

Good morning mate! I woke up early and was happy to see a decent frost but that really is a quick rise in temps. it seems to of stopped rising for the last 15 mins now though. All i can hope is it drops in any precipitation. Weve been unlucky down here on the coast the last few years again. Nowt!!

Not liking the rapid increase in temperature here in South Essex, granted I am right on the estuary. Might be the wrap around later that delivers the goods when the wind turns to the north for us.

Well if you believe the GFS the front is going to stall either right on me (Ely - Cambs) or JUST to my South - it’s going to be on a knife edge!!! Damn...

My feeling is it’ll get to me but there’s also every chance it won’t! Hmm....any thoughts??

I will see that the GFS precip has positioned it accurately as it stands...the meto and beeb precip forecasts have been incorrectly on the northerly extent (as usual!)
