Just my opinion but I think this is under played slightly

I think so too.

It just hitting mainland.

And it's already bright green...

I didn't expect that as far west as that.

Something of a decidedly sleetier variety is falling now in Bexhill. Might be time to catch up on some sleep soon! I’m happy I’ve seen some of the white stuff falling though

Just realised that the big building next door seems to be sheltering the garden where it’s already over 1cm, i imagine everywhere else where the heavy snow is falling that we might actually have several cm now

Temperatures and dew points rising so quickly now! I hate it when that happens!

Going to need the second band to bring the intensity back and hopefully pull the temperature down a bit further in Southend.

Back to sleet here got a slushy covering on the cars which is already melting. Need some heavier precipitation pronto

The roads are going to be treacherous this morning as people head out to work! Completely covered over them easily even on the road gritted by the council last night

Been in the middle of a precipitation hole for the last 20 minutes, nothing falling, pavements melted just leaving a dusting on cars now, next band about to hit, fingers crossed can get a little covering before the transition to rain starts.

I can confirm hammering it down with very very cold rain, with no heating in our house I can also confirm I’m staying put in bed for quite some time!!
