If you stay up, it'll be nothing but rain. go to bed and you'll miss the snow, every flipping flake.

It’s amazing that for such a small country there can be such pettiness about where you live, I mean the north v south really grinds my gears. I have a bias to ‘the south’ when it comes to viewing snow prospects and I don’t care what anyone says everybody does if they are on the hunt for snow!! Definitely an inferiority complex going on in a some quarters when it comes to how the mod thread is moderated. I think the moderators do a great job of trying to manage the challenges of how people behave in the virtual world, it would never be like this if we were all face to face in a room..!  .

Anyhow the weather, seems a bit cold, no snow and not expecting any, northern hills and the dales only...

I'm only two miles from the coast, not expecting much.

Not a small country by density. It actually enhances diverse reactions really

I normally do alright here, oddly enough, 70m asl isn't the greatest, but it does seem to be enough here, normally I wouldn't bother, had a covering on the 4th December, other than that, my last proper snowfall was march 2013, I missed most of the snow in the last 2 bfte

Can’t wait for this tomorrow. Good luck though everyone, hopefully most people will see some snow falling at the very least.

You must have been dead unlucky with the 2018 BFTE?

Not expecting a great deal here, 10 miles in from the south coast. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Heathfield get a temporary covering though. Only 8 miles from me but it’s amazing the difference a bit of altitude and being a bit further inland makes.

I’m 800m from the sea at 20m asl, I remember driving back from ashford and the snow basically stopped at Rye, nothing in Hastings or Bexhill, was hopefully my rural setting would have helped but alas wasn’t to be.

As I said before the temp will go up as the front approaches.

It will go down again.
