alarm set for 5am ready to see some falling flakes again! let’s hope for some temporary accumulations, would be shocking if nothing was to come of an amber warning

Give or take then. Makes me feel a little better about all your great stuff in the MOD thread now, now I now you’re not getting any either In the nicest way, of course...

Lol. I don’t forecast for myself, but I do look at the models with an Imby attitude. Who doesn’t? It’s only natural

I'm not sure that's a good thing, we'll see.

I'd imagine it would be as it would be hitting us when the conditions are good for snowfall?

Dewpoint heading in the right direction so hoping for some snow around here tomorrow.

Would have been going to see family in Norway soon but not this year unfortunately. They have some really cold conditions at the moment.

are you sure about that?

so, even with my HND in engineering, given the amount of replies so far; seems the confidence here is quite low. which is not unexpected having been through the last 4 weeks of eternal 10 day promises yet to see them dashed at day 5

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall. It doesn't rain very often here like other desert areas, but like the deadly floods in Libya last year showed, these rain events are likely becoming more extreme due to global warming. Week Ahead: Cool but largely dry until later in the week, when low pressure returns

We keep a chilly northerly flow going through much of the coming week, especially noticeable in the east. Cloud and rain spreading south Monday, but after that, most places largely dry until later in the week, when it looks to turn more showery. Read the full update here
