seems to be heading more SSW and missing Southend to the east.

I think Sittingbourne/Whitstable would be in the sweetspot, although the path over the Thames would suggest rain/sleet.

Radar showing snow in Southend heading for between Medway and here?

Nothing here mate. Just cloud despite the radar saying otherwise

I'm not being accused of lying i speak the truth My cousinssent me pics of about 2inches of snow in an area around Maidstone (not town centre) I don't see why I should have to bear the brunt of someone's built up frustrations who's clearly had run ins with other people if theyre saying their "fed up with people telling them this or that"  Its the first time I've had someone accuse me of lying on here since 2004 when I joined im not going to lying down over it. Nwver had a problem with anyone on here before, Whats said may come across as harsh but I don't owe anything.when I'm merely.defending myself and  the truth, but im done and we move on i won't respond with a word on the matter!

Back to weather talk...

Are you serious? I presume the post just now that pointed out a ‘fact’ that Maidstone didn’t get any snow has been removed because it wasn’t respectful? I didn’t read anything in that post that was rude or disrespectful it was just a fact, some folks make false claims unintentionally I sure but you can’t favour one over another?

It does look like the track is moving more SSW and ‘maybe’ losing some steam a little

That’s ok for me as I’m in the middle of Maidstone and ashford

Graupel downpour here with some wet flakes mixed in.

Bodes well for those along the coast here if the streamer does gain the intensity for more evap cooling.

I have the right to reply.

I am a middle aged woman so NOT menopausal as you have suggested.

Please do not treat me in such a male cheavanist way.

I have not had run ins with anybody on this forum.  In fact I very rarely say anything.

I just object to generalisation as it does not help when people are saying things that have not happened relating to the generalisation.

Your comments about my time of the month were offensive and I expect you to send me an apology for your outdated remarks.

The last few months have been so hard watching both parents die within a week of each other, today has been such a tonic and my mum would have loved it!

Have a good night everyone

xx

Night Paget glad you got your snow fix atleast happy for all those that did❄ Hopefully won't be long until the rest of us join in be it Gravesend or Maidstone god forbid

Nothing but snizzle all day, then a few minutes of snowflakes about 18.30 which settled to 3mm.  Still sparkling on the garden under clear sky, but dripping from the roof.  Currently 1°, high today was 1.7°.

What a day in Peterborough.

Work day but out delivering all day. Snow started as soon as I got to work at 1pm and stopped around 8pm.

Periods of extremely heavy snow at least 2 or 3 times. Most intense snow I’ve seen this far south. Epic day. I’d say there’s at least 6 inches in some areas.

Thankful to have been in the pivot point. Really amazing.

Maybe a few in Kent could see a surprise. Don’t recall seeing this sea convection in models.

Two areas of interest showing.... falling snow maybe some accumulation for a lucky few?

This is far more of a common streamer type set up (Kent clipper) with a direct  NE to SW movement of the precip affecting North mid or East Kent than a Thames streamer that reaches London and W/NW Kent Surrey etc, that requires the much rarer holy grail of a proper ENE flow goodluck to all that are under the shower trains

Good 10 minutes of graupel with a few snowflakes either side.
