For those in Kent who missed out earlier there’s good news and not so good news . Good news is that the reds are showing as the precip heads inland so it should be snow. The not so good news is that the precip doesn’t look that heavy. That said it might be showing less than is falling and things could pep up. I’d imagine our contingent in north Kent like medway should be having some light snow now/shortly

Agreed I’m hoping for 1cm and I would be happy !! Hope it’s not a bust like earlier,  I’m tn27 what you reckon for that area ?

Well it looks like it's staying as sleet in East Kent if radar is correct, time to wait and see.

I’d say you’d have a good chance of it being snow it’s just whether there’s enough oomph behind it to make an impact.

I should have said east Kent looks the anomaly on the radar at the moment staying as sleet. Hopefully it changes over for you...

I mean, at least we know there’s still a long way to go in hi-res modelling... How much fun would this be if we all knew exactly where snow would fall?

In South East London I’m pinning my hopes on something out of East Essex, something pumped in from the North Sea etc. I won’t be in that big area but still think we could get lucky somehow

Had a light snow shower in Locksbottom at 9pm but stopped now.temperature 0.5 but nothing has settled as intensity not strong enough.Like nearly all of Kent a case of close but no cigar today.See parts of Midlands had 15cms plus today. Many of that thread saying similar to December 2017!

onwards and upwards and GC I feel your pain today.I was lucky enough to see 25 mins of pretty heavy snow that settled and gave a covering for a couple hours before it vanished.Your time will come❄️
