Finally, after hours of rain, we have light snow here in Benfleet

Runs to window ?‍♂️

That ppn can do one elsewhere, thanks. Bloody sodden here!

Dry and sunny please. Or dry and cloudy. Mild and dry would do. Anything that's dry. And not chilly. I'm done with chilly, too.

We had light snow for about 8 seconds! Then went back to sleety mess and has now stopped maybe some good news for tonight, could turn more wintry here ??

looks like a streamer setting up off the north Norfolk coast into Norwich

Would be great to get a Thames Streamer set up

Looks like either very light sleet or snow falling in Gravesend now can't tell which?

It is lighter but there’s a band of heavier snow just north of me.

It's a real mix, rain then snow, then back to rain. Not far from you. Hoping for top up on the remaining snow from today. Do you think there is some decent snow coming our way?

The fact that the Showers brought more Snowflakes than the Main Band so far is ridiculous.

I don’t think it will be anything like earlier but could wel get an hour or so of moderate snow.

Lighter stuff is rain here (Tottenham) but changes to sleet/snow with the heavier ppn..

Perhaps London is on the wrong side of marginal at the moment

the met office frecast has changed again. no heavy snow now, and just light snow for 1 hour at 11pm , so the four hours of snow has gone.

Looks like the current stuff falling here in Walthamstow is more sleety snow as it's not settling anywhere more likely to be wet than white. Unless there is heavier stuff coming but nice to see it falling anyhow

Yep also looks slushy out. Still got snow lying from earlier but it has t started to freeze over yet. Sleety wet snow looks likely apart from in some heavier bursts.

Met office forecast dont look to good for later. Like you say fizzling out by then. Looked like just an area cloud. Maybe another system coming into cold air at the weekend but I dont think that's a good set up for us. Always seems to rain. Too close to the channel.

Hmm,  its just another reason for me to have to wake up early on Saturday or Sunday  on my day off. I'm sure il be let down again, but it doesnt stop me waking up as always since i was a kid! Keep the faith mate!
