But where are you, sir?

South Peterborough, it makes a change to not be up the charts on rainfall totals for once.
I must admit I do feel bad for those over Kent and Eastern parts of EA today. I was mocking the pub run from the GFS last night but the current amber warning is exactly where the model had the highest snow totals for today.
There will be more snow events to come in the coming weeks, I am actually quite sure of that. So hopefully everyone will get some decent memories of this winter. My son is 2 years old and this is the first significant snowfall he has seen and has loved every minute of it.

Cambourne mate. Not sure why the mobile version don’t include locations. Maybe that’s something Netweather can look into?

Yup. MetOffice now calling heavy snowfall for the London region after 10pm.

Likewise it’s so annoying when people post saying ‘snowing here now’ etc etc they think we are all mind readers!! Name of town/village/city and county on all reports is a must

I’ve given up for today - Ely got nothing, just 4 miles west they had 4 inches! Unbelievable!!! Haha that’s the way it goes. To rub salt in the wounds it’s actually spitting with rain now...

As said above.. turn your mobile device around to landscape mode and it'll show people's locations.

It's nae the total, utter, complete absence of FORECAST snow that gets me (although that's certainly part of it!) it's that I now feel obliged to check the lamppost every so often, just in case a miracle happens!

After all my moaning all day today, a slight pivot on the front and a sightly area of ppn combined with darkness has led to some snow. Praise the lord!

Loved playing around in the snow, it broke up the boredom of the lockdown. There were 40 snowmen in the park.

Small matter of getting my Dad up down the various hills to the vaccination hub at the football ground in heavy snow - but thankfully the council and fire brigade kept the roads and football ground clear and it went very smoothly!
